Controversy whether if MJ and Kobe should be put in the same class.

Is Kobe Bryant really better than Michael Jordan or the same ?

This is huge debate in the sports world. I want everyone to keep the following in mind.
There is no way that KOBE can ever be compared to MJ. I really feel that MJ played in a different time category compared to what KOBE plays in now. Remember that MJ had the triangle offense surrounded or which Doc Phil implemented just for him and there were different rules at the time he played. Even though both are fortunate to have Doc Phil coach them; we can't really compare the two. I strongly feel that they are both in two categories and different time spans. Jordan was competing with Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and other great players in league history. KOBE is competing with younger players trying to make a name for themselves compared to legends that were already established when Jordan played the game. For instance, Lebron James (who is no doubt in my mind will be legend when he is done) Carmelo Anthony, and others.

Lets not forget that MJ had a supporting cast that assisted him in many areas. Jordan had three point specialists BJ Armstrong, John Paxson, and others. Also there was all around player that I would not hestitiate to have on my team at any time. Scottie Pippen... At one time, KOBE don't really have this type of supporting cast, and he is doing what he has to do. Therefore, this makes KOBE a special player compared to most. Overall, they both have a lot of milestones that they have both accomplished. Although, Kobe's look very impressive because he is a current player.

Well for now, I have to get back to work, and I just wanted to get my opinion back out there for my buddies that was debating on this issue.

Keep in mind this is from someone that is not a Laker fan, and I was a huge MJ fan back in the hayday.

Will talk again! Keep coming back for more on what I got to say.
